"Garbage In, Garbage Out."

People who work with computers have a saying "Garbage In, Garbage Out."

What that means is this: a computer is only as good as the information it has in its memory banks.


The same is true of the human body.

If you put "garbage" in, you get "garbage" out.

What you eat becomes your body.


Your body is constantly in the process of rebuilding itself.

Cells die every day and are replaced by new cells.

Your skin sheds and recreates new skin.

Your internal organs are rejuvenated by new cells.

These cells are formed with the nutrients you provide your body through food.


Since "you are what you eat," your eating habits are extremely important to your overall health.

To maintain your health, we recommend the following:



  1. Eat well-balanced meals.
  2. Avoid "junk foods" such as soft drinks, potato chips, alcoholic beverages, and any foods with high sugar content.
  3. When you sit down to eat, take your time.


In this fast-paced culture, too many people eat quickly. Chew your food thoroughly.

Give your stomach a break.

Good nutrition is essential to your healing process.

Help your body heal…

Feed it the appropriate food.

Why some people are always sick?

Have you ever wondered why some people are always sick?

You probably have friends or relatives that are always complaining about how awful they feel.

It sometimes seems that people want to feel bad.

That's silly, you say.

Why should anyone want to be sick?

Let me tell you how it happens:

A 45-year-old man, Frank, has been ambitious, hard-working, and in excellent health for many years.

He has helped to raise his family; he coached Little League and track.

He always attended the plays, special events and sports activities his children were involved in.

One day, his son committed suicide.

Frank never broke down, not when he learned the news nor later the funeral.

However, he started to have health problems soon afterwards, problems that never went away despite all the medication he tried.

This is a rather extreme example.

However, the message is still clear.

Sometimes people want to feel sick: 

to punish themselves, to get attention or even to "get back at" other people.

Your attitude is extremely important in your recovery.

I have developed a short exercise that will speed your recovery.

To receive utmost benefit, this exercise should be done at least three times each week.

Pick a quiet place where you can be undisturbed for 10-15 minutes.

Sit in a comfortable chair and close your eyes:

  1. Start picturing yourself healthy.
  2. Picture yourself feeling good when you get up in the morning.
  3. Watch yourself go through an entire day without pain.
  4. Treat yourself by going to play golf, bowl or participate in your favorite hobby.
  5. Go through your entire day's activity in your mind…
  6. ...without pain.

Your mental attitude is an important part of the healing process.

That is why I've taken the time to tell you about it.
